ABOUT MEGASTAR
Established since 1995, we are a fully accredited advertising agency of Singapore
International Media Group of Companies. We began specializing in Radio and
Television commercials, corporate videos, voice-over talents, show
promotions and multi-language translation and proof reading.
In 1996, we ventured into Television programmes. As of now, we have
produced hundreds of programmes, mainly in Tamil. Our programme
genres include Info-educational, Lifestyle, Cultural, Dramas, Current Affairs,
Variety Shows, Children Shows and Health series. We conceptualise and
produce programmes especially for MediaCorp TV 12.
We also have done English commercials. Some of our clients include 'Sony Ericsson'
and 'Expressions' (Slimming Centre). We have a multi cultural environment and do
engage non-Tamils (non-Indians) in many phases of our production, whether it's a Tamil
or non-Tamil programme/commercial.
We have staff of high caliber working for us. From concept researchers, scriptwriters, directors,
producers, cameraman to editors, we always employ the best and niche group of people for specific concepts.
Producing quality and marketable programmes that relates and elevates viewers' lifestyles is our forte.
We have won numerous awards including Ear Awards in 2000 & 2002 in the Creative Merit Section,
Pradhana Vizha Awards for Best Info-Ed Programme (1992 & 2002), Best News/Current Affairs Story (2002 & 2003),
Best Variety Programme (1999), Best Cultural Programme (2001) and Listener's choice award in 2002.
Further more, Dhool 06/07, a dance competition produced by us, was telecasted in Vijay TV of Chennai, India in 2007.
Some of our other programmes have also been telecasted on various overseas channels.
Currently, Megastar is producing various programmes over a wide genre for MediaCorp TV12.
